CodeDrips Pty Ltd (“CodeDrips”, “we”, “us”, or “our”) operates codedrips.com. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, store, and disclose personal information in accordance with the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth) and the Australian Privacy Principles (APPs).

- Contact and enquiry details: name, email address, phone number, and any project details you include when you contact us via our enquiry form or by email.
- Communications: records of correspondence between you and CodeDrips.
Information collected automatically
- Analytics data: we use Google Analytics 4 (GA4) to collect anonymised usage data including pages visited, session duration, and general geographic region. IP addresses are anonymised before storage.
- Cookies: GA4 sets first-party cookies to distinguish sessions. You can disable cookies in your browser settings; this will not affect core site functionality.
- Server logs: our hosting provider (Netlify) automatically records standard access logs including IP address, browser type, and pages requested. These logs are retained for up to 30 days for security purposes.
2. How we use your information
- To respond to your enquiry and discuss your project.
- To provide quotes, proposals, and contracted services.
- To improve our website and services using aggregated, anonymised analytics data.
- To comply with legal obligations.
We do not use your personal information for direct marketing without your consent, and we do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information to third parties.
3. Disclosure of personal information
We may disclose personal information to the following third parties who assist us in operating our business:
- Netlify, Inc. — website hosting and form processing (United States).
- Google LLC — analytics via Google Analytics 4 and advertising via Google Ads (United States).
Where personal information is disclosed to overseas recipients, we take reasonable steps to ensure those recipients handle information consistently with the Australian Privacy Principles.
We may also disclose personal information where required or authorised by Australian law.
4. Data security and retention
We take reasonable steps to protect personal information from misuse, interference, loss, and unauthorised access. Enquiry data is retained for as long as it is needed to manage your project relationship, and for up to five years thereafter for record-keeping purposes. You may request deletion of your information at any time (see section 5).
5. Access, correction, and deletion
Under the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth), you have the right to:
- Request access to the personal information we hold about you.
- Request correction of inaccurate or outdated information.
- Request deletion of personal information we hold about you (subject to any legal obligations to retain it).
